How To Show All Category and Subcategory Tree in X-Cart?
Category management is one of the most important parts of your online business success. So, you should definitely know how to make your category tree as comfortable for yourself and your customers as you can.
As you know, you need to have at least one custom product category to be able to add products into your online shop. Each category can have different subcategories.The number of subcategories and levels of subcategories is unlimited. On the Customer area main page, categories are listed in the Categories menu.

It is possible to temporarily hide or to show each category or subcategory for the visitors of your website. So, a disabled category will not appear in the category tree on the storefront of the custom area.
To do this, use edit category button.
In the “Available” column of the “Edit Category” window, put away the tick for each of the categories and subcategories you want to hide .
Click ОК button.
The disabled categories should disappear from the storefront.
To re-enable previously disabled categories or subcategories, re-set the value in the “Available” column for these categories and click on OK. The categories and subcategories should re-appear on the storefront.
